Mgr Ops- UK Payroll

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for independently managing a existing payroll processing team which has high growth potential, manage service delivery and payroll processing to deliver timely and accurate payroll services.

Work collaboratively with MS Freedom Pune leadership and team on workload transfer, payroll movement and handover procedures; provide support as per the approved DR / BCP practices.

Work closely with B.U Managers and drive their key goals defined for MS Freedom.
·         Aligned to ADP’s Mission, Vision and World Class Service Model.
·         Ownership for High quality service delivery of Payroll processing and Operations.
  • Responsible for day-to-day/operational account management of the client. Ensures payroll team adherence to scheduled work tasks, policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with all applicable tax regulations and wage and hour laws, ADP policies & procedures. 
·         Build and lead a strong client engagement model which results into a high client satisfaction. Ensures to put in place a successful multi tier client engagement model. Builds relationships of trust, respect and partnership with client contacts by providing World Class Service.
·         Build and lead a strong associate engagement model which leads to associate retention through efficient rewards and recognition system, learning and development practices, development of subject matter expertise, job rotation, cross training and career pathing.
·         Build and implement performance management system to measure, develop and reward meritocracy and should follow the guidelines as per the ADP India’s performance appraisal system.
·         Manage the operational and fiscal activities of the project which includes: staffing levels, chargeability, budgets, and financial goals.
·         Plan and develop systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the department. Supervise staff in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • In-depth understanding of SLAs, SOW, and contractual requirements & manages the workflow to meet requirements
  • In-depth understanding of SAS70 requirements & responsible for entire end-to-end process execution compliance.



SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Proficiency in understanding Payroll Service Delivery and Operations
  • Good understanding of legislative laws, preferably U.K
  • Excellent communication skills to interact and interpret UK clients.
  • Ability to read and interpret payroll, accounting and MIS reports.
  • Strong knowledge of quality procedures for payroll / finance
  • Adaptable and flexible to manage operations spread across shifts.
  • Certification in Six sigma would be added advantage.

Experience
  • Should have 8 – 10  years of experience preferably from any payroll or finance domain
  • Minimum 4- 5 years experience in leadership roles responsible for service delivery.
  • Prior experience in dealing with workload transition, working with U.K clients.
  • Proven track record in talent management and associate engagement
  • Prior exposure / experience into payroll operations
  • Experience in project management would be added advantage.

EDUCATION
  • First Class Degree in Commerce / Finance
  • MBA will be an added advantage.
